Merry Chirstmas and Happy New Year From Regla, Cuba!!!

Feliz navidad y q todos tengan lo mejor ano nuevo de tu vida!!! This year, I was fortunate enough to spend the holidays in Havana, Cuba. This Christmas tree you see here is in my Friend Sergito's casa en Regla, a barrio outside of Havana across the water.



This is Sergito. He is an excellent musician that plays in a group at a bar called Los Dos Hermanos/The Two Brothers. We met Sergio a few days prior to this and he invited us over to his house for a day of fun and to teach my dad some skills on the drums and sticks!

The hospitality of the Cuban people can't be matched. He greeted us with a salad and some fried pork and a huge bottle of Ron (Rum)! Fun day for sure!
